Police Blotter: Clothes Stolen from Laundromat

Theft8800 Viking Way – An adult Camano Island man reported that his clothes were stolen from a Laundromat after they were left unsecured and unattended.

Assault – 27000 102 DR NW – A 26 year old woman reported that she was assaulted by a 40 year old acquaintance after returning home from an evening at a tavern.  Investigation continues.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery – 7100 268 ST NW – A stripped stolen vehicle from Camano Island was located off the roadway in a wooded area.  Investigation continues.

Assault -8400 Henning Dr- The police received a second hand report of a 27 year old female having inappropriate contact/assaulting minors in the neighborhood.  The veracity of the allegations are yet to be determined, investigation continues.

Assault -7600 272 ST NW – Investigation revealed that a 15 year old female assaulted a 14 year old female classmate near a school bus stop.  It is alleged that the suspect believed that the victim was spreading rumors about her and having contact with her boyfriend.  Minor injuries sustained, charges are being referred.

Malicious Mischief  – 7500 267 ST NW – After receiving a burglar alarm at a school portable building, the police discovered that suspect(s) had broken windows out of the structure, but not made entry.

Criminal Trespassing/MIP – 7600 272 ST NW – A 16 year old expelled student from Camano Island was discovered trespassing on school grounds throwing confetti in the hallway.  Upon contact with the boy, it was determined that he was under the influence of intoxicants, charges referred.

Theft – 7400 272 ST NW – A 17 year old student reported the theft of her hearing aid while it was left unsecured and unattended on school grounds.

Theft – 7400 272 ST NW – A female student reported that a portable electronic device was stolen after she had left it charging unsecured and unattended in a classroom.

Disturbance – 9900 272 ST NW – The police responded to a report of a woman brandishing a knife at a nursing home after being involved in an altercation with an adult man in the parking lot.  Police contacted the 45 year old Gold Bar woman, who stated that she had been in an argument with the man after he did not help with getting a man in/out of his wheelchair.  The woman was less than cooperative and was trespassed from business after no crime was determined to have occurred as of this report.
