Haiti Dinner, Mar. 11 at Camano Chapel. Friday, March 11th, Haiti Fundraising Dinner, The purpose of this fundraiser is: First, to sponsor orphan children at the IDADEE orphanage, Second, to sponsor young adults who desire to go to Haiti on a mission trip, and finally to raise awareness of what God is doing through us as a church in Haiti. The cost is $10 per person and you can choose either a Prime Rib or Chicken dinner, along with the entertainment of David Harsh. David Harsh is a multi-talented musician. Sons of Norway (Fritjov Lodge) in Stanwood will have a dinner/cultural night Fri, March 11,beginningwitha6p.m.social hour. Corned beef dinner served at 7, followed by the cultural program, “Viking history, the six basic questions—who, what, when, where, why and how.” Open to Sons of Norway members and also guests who are interested in Norwegian culture. The all school district production of Bye Bye Birdie runs March 11, 12, 17, 18,19 at 7 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the door, $9 for adults, $7 for students.
Arlington Airport businesses and pilots are participating in Women Of Aviation International Week to offer free flights to girls and women who have never had the opportunity to fly in a small aircraft. Activities include inspirational professional pilot, Karlene Petitt, speaking Fri, March 11, 5 p.m. The talk will be at Out of the Blue Aviation, and refreshments will be served, also drawings for prizes; an RSVP is requested. Saturday, pilots will be offering short free rides to girls and women starting at 9:30 a.m. near the NASA restaurant, where there will be weekend specials on lunch and dinner.
