Camano Law Enforcement Support Foundation Meets March 7

March 6, 2011

The Camano Law Enforcement Foundation will meet Monday, March 7, at 7 pm at the Country Club Fire Station.

Help support Camano’s Island County Sheriffs, Volunteer Citizen Patrol (I.C.S.O.), and Washington State Park Rangers!

Come and find out about the new citizen organization that has been formed to assist these agencies by purchasing and then donating items that are requested by the agencies but that are under-funded or not budgeted. We will also assist in providing funds for training, training aids, and education for the members of these agencies, or the public.

The Camano Law Enforcement Support Foundation (C.L.E.S.F.) has been formed to promote good will for law enforcement, and support the Island County Sheriff’s Camano precinct and deputies, Camano Island’s Volunteer Citizen Patrol (I.C.S.O.), and Washington State Park Rangers for Camano’s state parks. We will assist these agencies by purchasing and then donating items that are requested by the agencies that are under-funded or not budgeted. We will also assist in providing funds for training, training aids, and education for the members of these agencies, or the public.

We are looking for new members! Get in on the ground floor of the creation of this important community organization. Meetings are the first Monday of the month at 7pm at the Country Club Fire Station. Contact Earl Barnard 387-9670, Don Maile 387-6900 or email earlmo38ci@frontier.com for more information.
