Christmas tree collection. Boy Scout Troop 86 will be picking up Christmas trees Sun, Jan. 2 in town. Stanwood residents should have their trees on the curb before 9 a.m. or deliver trees to the east parking lot of Stanwood High School from 9 a.m. to noon.
The American Legion Post 92 will serve Swedish pancakes Jan. 2, 8:30-11 a.m. at 26921 88th St., next to Rite Aid, in the east end of downtown Stanwood.
